Another fafnir and some sea adventures!

Started the day off with some adventures in the waters. 3 Jailer Of Prudence, and not a single torque. Jailer Of Justice did drop torque, sadly no screenshot. Congratulations to Elfas on the torque. Jailer of Love pop set ready to go, so be ready for mass XP loss on Sunday. AV????

Fortune and Fortitude

Since the AV video came out everyone is in a /panic to get JoL pop items, except BBQ is cool we’ve been doing sea for 3 weeks straight all day and night before that video made it trendy! Todays sea farming event was splendiferific, between Ix’drg and Ix’drk being on unannounced vacations and team Not-RAD blm MPKing a certain wonderful and unaccountably brilliant brd, we managed to pop a Jailor of Fortitude, known for his frugal lifestyle and stingy drop rate, but that didn’t stop us from getting one of these~!             CoNgRaTuLaTiOnS SKEEDOW-Teacher man! Come rain or snow or sleet or hail or sword or great axe Skeedow is ready to throw the hammer down on some fools! Then later there was Khimaira, it went something like this: omg stop nuking! AAAAA I can’t stop nuking i’m dead! ENTER KITE MODE <call>!!! …Ok actually it was so easy it was boring, and thus Khimaira was defeated and thus we got some excellent drops which I will show you thusly~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~                                                      Thus they went freelot and thus we are 2/118 for Khimaira or something, so THUS IDC. Oh and THUS I lied in this news title because there was no fortune to be found, thus you shouldn’t believe everything you read!

Hump Day & AV Video Released by SE.

Have we killed the myth that killshot with a summoner pet eliminates Treasure Hunter? Lol. Congratulations to Spleen on her shiny new Algol.

Early morning, we also claimed a fafnir. Fight went very smooth and without any major issues. Even only had 1 Hurricane wing for the first 40% of the fight. Seems Treasure Hunter 4 was in full effect. We got so many items that one of them had to be autosorted.

Ya’ll can relax just a little bit, the auto sorted item was not a ridill. Lots of crappy items as abjurations were tossed. Congratulations to Zelgades on Hrotti.

Interesting day for BBQ!

After getting an Aspi taken from us with questionable actions from a rival LS. We decided to head to Dragon’s Aery. Ukkie claims with flash and the second she claims the fight turns interesting. Our tank immediately gets terrorized and dies within 4 seconds of BBQ claiming fafnir. Our thief quickly heads to change to Nin/Drk while our War/Whm and Smn/Whm solo tank Fafnir. Only 12 ppl from the LS, and we were DD heavy today, so Fafnir was Hurricane Wing happy. The Nin/Drk arrives and things start to smooth out. Suddenly our pld/nin dies again.

So it’s Nin/Drk and War/Whm duo tanking fafnir. During this time the bard in the tank PT dc’s several times. Without ballad and march, nin/drk is quite useless. We sleep fafnir several times, blms coming close to death. During one of the sleeps, fafnir goes yellow for a split second. We later discover a rival LS had provoked Fafnir, however they apologized for there actions. The last 40% of the fight, there is no brd in the main tank PT. Our Sam/Whm & War/Sam were pulling hate, since tanks had no MP. It’s coming down to the wire, and our pld/nin 2hr’s and blm’s manafont the final 7% as our Samurai 2hr’s.

After the hr+ fight, with no noticeable raging of fafnir, this is what we got in our treasure pool. An Epic fight, a good fight or a poor fight? Either way it was interesting. Good job LS on the kill! Congratulations to Amalthea on A.Hands.

Several hours later, Johndoe claims another king, King Behemoth. We take down the dog quickly and get rewarded with mediocre drops.

Congratulations to Kiana on W.Head & Celestria on Pixie Earring. We also sold tongue to Gaviel for an undisclosed amount.

It’s like the midnight premiere of the Lord of the rings, all over again!

There were geeks in capes everywhere!                                                                                                                                                           And unfortunately this had to happen……..                                                                                                                                                    Setting aside the loss of that last cape we are something like 2 capes in 4 Ix’mobs this week on our official runs and almost have another 2 JoL sets right after fishing our last 2 JoLs, thus proving that when we set our minds to it and set aside all the beurocratic concerns about popping which NMs when, and the endless waiting that goes with it, and just pop and kill stuff, we can get a lot done. Thus maybe if we keep our motivation and activation rate up maybe our torque list will start to move, thus it will match our nearly empty cape lists thus everyone will be happy. Except the ls grouches but they will be happy they get to complain THUS everyone wins!
