Ok on with the show. Since the old sites been down lets just do a quick recap of what happened since thursday. Thursday we got Aspi and mfeet dropped which Tarkan got.

I don’t know why but he did. Grats? lol.

Then we claimed and killed cerberus.

I got to test out some fire resist out on him as well.

As you can see fire resist is very usefull for tanks if a gates of hades actually gets through. I had no carol, just barfire and equipment.

Another thing Cerberus is great for is skill up.

In the end the drops were.

Friday we camped the usual kings, we did get behemoth and it dropped a worthless thundercloud…..

In disgust we decided to go after Hydra (he wasn’t up thursday when we checked him).

I thought this pic was really cool, with our Ebody users standing back tanking Hydra while we healed mp.

Ok so we killed Hydra and it dropped:

On Saturday we went back and visited an old friend.

Yes good ole’ Vrtra.

Ok then Sunday we did sky run. We got a Haidate an Nbody and 2 osodes!

Then we did Ultima.

With the increase in popularity and competition for Khimaira, BBQ had yet to kill the genetically deformed beast. It seems as soon as it popped it was claimed by an LS that would wait hours sometimes days for it to pop. We’ve been camping this for a long time now and today we got our chance to fight it. We headed for Caederva Aery.

We camped against Clan, Seven Senses, and Jokers. After a while it turned way past the JP ls’s bed time and they started to leave, we were finally alone with no competition. But LB and TK sent scouts out in case we wiped. And we’ve learned we can’t put anything past TK because they will claim with low numbers and hold until enough people gather. So when it popped we claimed him.

Suprisingly we thought he’d be harder. I think Chalis of LimitBreak said it best : “I think SE’s goal for Khimaira was to put you to sleep until 30%.” Yea your right Chalis. lol…

Not really anything happening yet.

OK finally 30%. Only one fullmination managed to get through and it really wasn’t devastating by any means.

Almost dead! No sword but a win nevertheless.

We also claimed and killed Behemoth while camping Khimaira which dropped 2 hides!

Later that day Tiamat popped so we rushed claim again not putting anything past TK. Slow fight at the start because we lacked damage but after the DD’s showed up we made a quick fight out of Tiamat. Drops were wonderful.

Today we did some sky farming, we found MG up unclaimed but didn’t have enough people to engage for a while, we ended up rushing ourselves and engaging but fucking up on the pull. Oh well it’s only MG. After that we tried to pop SC. Frozenx was pulling a detector up to the entrance and lol… SC popped first mob as he was pulling back to camp and at the same time we found Cerberus up and unclaimed. We quickly destroyed Steam Cleaner.

Only 1 Gates of Hades went through, eventhough it took longer than usual to kill for some reason.

Sunday, February 4th, 2007

BBQ news is finally back online. Well to wrap up whats been going on for the past month, we’ve been doing the usually tiamats, sky, sea, kings all the usuall stuff. We did a low number Jorm in there too somewhere. But anyway…

Today we got Aspi, Donnie claimed and we got a shit load of adds on us. We were only 6 at the time but we had at least 12 at the finish.

As you can see from this pic the # of adds we had to overcome.


As more and more people showed up we were able to focus on dropping aspi.

And in the end we managed to pull out with a wbody.

After that we did a Bahamut 2. Not really any mentionable drops. And no one sent pics /fume.
