Jormunwho?
We decided to head on up to Uleguerand Range and this giant wyrm was there. It didn’t like us, so we killed it. It dropped a couple of ores, I’m not sure where he stored them though. Oh! and it dropped a staff that Spazchicken found on the way out. Congratulations Spazchicken!

Ouryu commeth yet again
Been awhile since we’ve done an Ouryu but we managed to scrape up enough members to visit the ol’ Riverne site #A01. Congrats to Kraytos, Ngueh, Millajovo and Somoz on their loot. Bahamaut v2 watch out, you’re next!

Whoa, what’s this?
It had been awhile but we finally got a Tiamat, and was a smooth fight until the last sliver of Tiamat’s health when both tanks got killed and it did a 180 (thankfully no flail) and started eating everyone. We quickly disbatched him though and picked up this stuff.
To our disappointment no boots, but the fight is half the reward!

Taming Tiamat - 02/05/09
Another encounter with Tiamat yields less than favorable results this time around. The battle itself was almost less than favorable as well, when a tank died early on but we scrambled and made a nice recovery and got the win.

Happy New Year! - 12/31/08
We kicked off the year on a good note or ended it with a good note, depending on where you are in the world. We managed to kill Tiamat after waiting patiently while another LS was slowly dispatched by the wyrm. Other then the pathetic, dishonorable MPK attempt and one of our tanks dying near the end, the fight went fairly smooth. Ngueh’s hard work paid off as he obtains Herald’s gaiters, congratulations!

Hydra Headhunting & Astonishing Wyrms - 10/25/08
All 3 Bahamuts in a total fight time of under 15 minutes. Nothing too exciting to report considering the battle was short lived other than the gil drops and Bahamut’s mask which went to Versailles, congratulations!
After a successful Einherjar it was time to go to war with Tinnin. I think we did 6-7 Tinnins, the battles were all exciting with some close calls and lots of death. Notable items included 2-3 pop items for PW and congratulations goes out to Emmaliz on Enkidu’s Harness!

Oh, Odin and Ouryu~ - 10/18/08
I wasn’t at Odin due to an emergency so I really shouldn’t be reporting on this, but I heard we had 30+ and the fight couldn’t have gone more efficient. Congratulations to Darkwind on W.Body and Johndoe on Valhalla helm! (art by Yoshitaka Amano)
Not much to say about this routine wyrm, all five fights went according to plan at the expense of some of our Japanese member’s sleep, sumimasen /bow. Five Ouryu means five Bahamut v2.0s!

Action packed day of sitting on our butts! Of course “butts” doesn’t really flow with “action” but who needs the FCC breathing down their neck? NOT ME!
The day started with a rather annoying Einherjar run, during which Tiamat had the bad sense to pop. In under 5 minutes 27 A-N-G-R-Y BBQ members arrived to put Tiamat in her place! In a record time (at least from what i’ve seen) we put Tiamat down to her eternal (3-5 day) rest in only 30 (31?) minutes! But alas as i’ve said countless times, the more efficient you are, the more SE hates you 
After this we decided to have a throwback to our childhoods and play My Little Pony, with the cutest purple pony in the world (Of course as a girl I played sports, army, and with my transformers, but i’m sure someone (Nex, Sil80, Crail) probably picked up my slack on the doll frontier :p) Keeping with our theme of the day “lets not make this an all day event” we took Ixion down in about 60 minutes, using the power of WAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRIIIIIIOOOORRRRRRRRR rather than the usual Sam I am R I. With only one minor slip up, during which the most gracious and wonderful BRD in the world got caught on the losing end of a Wrath of Zeus.
And then after all this we were amazed to find that the Sandpuppy still hadn’t popped, so we all put on our Kevin Bacon masks and pretended we were early 90s movies hero and with the brave cry of “Lets go get us a worm!!!” we went and got us a worm, and of course amidst our heroic shouts Donnie could be heard in the back round reminding everyone to button up and bring a scarf as it was getting chilly, and not forget our lunches, and play nice with all the other kids etc~ thus thus thus thus thus THUS THIS HAPPENED
Yes that’s a screenshot of us getting entirely too much treasure from Serket, with all this mad loot we honestly don’t know what to do, coupled with our Guivre-sandworm kill the night prior that netted us a whole 5k Guivre skull, we all may just retire at this point! Personally i’m looking to open a sky lodge in Xarcabard. Try our triple diamond demon dodging slope, it’s killer!
